Mark believes that truly successful wedding photography combines quick spontaneous posing for formal portraits and continuous candids for a more alive recording. We artfully blend both traditional and journalistic coverage to create an exciting record of the wedding day, individually personalized for your marriages.

We provide a second photographer for complete candid coverage, (with the candid photographer most often on black and white) and LOTS of pictures (averaging 800-1200 per wedding.) Even the main photographer is 90% candids with each photographer using 3-4 different cameras, lenses, and films.

I've been working this way since 1989, way before the latest fad of photojournalism. Most photographers have just started adding on (in the last one to three years or so) what has been the core of my style for over ten years.

I am still being hired (on the phone) as a photojournalist from samples that are five or more years old (from the video presentation I’ve been sending out) without people even seeing the recent work that we are doing with fine art photographers. You might want to ask to see the work of other photographers from five years ago to see how long they have been fine-tuning their style (and is it an add-on that they don't normally do?)
